Melbourne Instruments Updates Nina Synth

Melbourne Instruments has updated their NINA 12-Voice Analog Polysynth with Motorized Controls by adding MPE functionality. Here's the story in their own words...

Melbourne Instruments' Nina synthesizer makes 12 analog voices of MPE playing possible with the latest firmware, available for download on Melbourne Instruments' website.

MPE functionality has been added in combination with Nina's 4 multi-timbral layers. Stacked sounds can be MPE controlled, or multiple MPE zones, controllers or standard MIDI keyboards can be assigned different channels.

MPE mode offers parameters so it can work correctly with all known MPE controllers, and adds a Decay envelope for expressive sound control on MPE Aftertouch and CC74.

Additional new features have been added in this firmware:
• Nina's Chorus, Reverb and Delay Effects can now all operate simultaneously and the chaining is fully flexible.
• The wavetable oscillator can now be pitched down to operate as an LFO, and wavetable import adds
      WaveEdit format.
• Nina can be globally tuned up or down for working with a different pitch reference such as 432 Hz.
• The LCD screen color can be changed to pink, green, blue and also a high contrast mode.
