Synth East - Molten Music Tech Synth Show Extravaganza

Robin Vincent  of Molten Music Technology Youtube channel is putting on an event in the East of the UK on  Saturday March 4th 23. Its held at the Norwich Arts Centre, which is a well known venue in the heart of Norwich in Norfolk, UK.

The event will comprise of a daytime session with manufacturers, performers, pop-up shots, synth clubs, EMOM and enthusiasts celebrating the gear that makes synthesized sounds.

Attendees will be able to sample many of the latest synths and modular gear and chat with the makers. During the day there will be various performances including the Steve Davis All-Star Modular Patch-Off.This is very much Steve's idea of getting a bunch of modular people together and see how interesting it would be to play with a randomly selected partner.

Robin says:

Randomness is something that happens a lot in modular music making but in this we'll be randomising the musicians. Exactly how it's going to work is still under discussion but along with myself and Steve we are hoping to have Gaz Williams, Sam Battle and Loula Yorke having a go, with maybe one or two more brave participants.

It's shaping up to be a very exciting event the likes of which Norwich has never seen.

At least since 1122 when Henry I visited town [ed]

In the evening, there will be modular performances with  Robin Vincent and Steve Davis warming things up, then Finlay Shakespeare and Nick Colk Void as the headline.

Tickets are available from the Norwich Arts Centre box office here:
