World Synth For iOS

TAQS.IM tells us that their World Synth is the easiest way to play World Sounds, Rhythms, Microtonal Music Scales & Drones on your iPhone or iPad. This is the story in their own words...

We partnered with producers from across the globe to bring you authentic sounds from Asia to Latin America, from the Middle East to the Mediterranean.

Play World Sounds
Our app comes loaded with 8 free sounds and 8 free rhythms. We're launching with 18 total sound packs and will be adding more regularly!

Practice World Rhythms
Do you Bossa Nova, Ciftetelli, Tallava, Zembekiko, Teentaal or Bandari? Play along with rhythms from around the world with the touch of a pad. Adjust the tempo or synch with Ableton Link to other apps or hardware units (DJ's - imagine adding a Samba or Middle Eastern rhythm in synch with any song)!

Learn World Microtonal Scales
Visually Learn Makam, Raga and World Scales with our on-screen keyboard. Adjust the microtones of scales and even save your own custom scales for your own personal flavor!

Performance-Oriented Features - Presets, Favorites & Drones
We brought a host of new performance-oriented features to the app! Save custom sounds, create a list of favorite sounds for easy access, hold a drone to accompany you!

Start your worldwide musical journey with the TAQS.IM World Synth Synthesizer.
