Oddball - A Bouncing Ball Drum Machine Just Launched

US Bluetooth linked rhythm programming      31/07/18

I'm sure many of us have bounced a ball in time with some inner rhythm, it seems like a natural thing to do. Oddball have created a device that taps into that instinct, its a Bluetooth enabled ball with pressure and strike sensors. When paired with the included app, beats can be created by bouncing, hitting and squeezing.

As its Bluetooth enabled, you can also use it to connect to your DAW and route the MIDI to software instruments or external hardware. Multiple Oddball units can be connected for even more rhythm (or chaos!)

Oddball has now launched on Kickstarter, with a single Oddball priced at £59, two pack at £110 and three at £169 (you may want to juggle of course). At three days in, the project is 182% funded. Shipping is slated for Januaray 2019.
