There I was, all set up with a fancy 2 camera switching system with overlays and the bloomin' internet breaks coz everyone was watching the England football on the BBC iPlayer. So sorry for those who didnt get the full live stream this week, but at least we won eh?
Normal service should be resumed next week...
Some consolation I suppose, but another one is the arrival of a new guest in the form of Gaz Williams - a producer/musician based in Bristol, with a healthy list of credits. On the line, we're joined by Dave Spiers of GForce software - makers of fine software instruments, and Mark Tinley -sound artist and creative thinker.
We first talk of a brilliant interview piece from yesteryear with synth legend David Vorhaus, then the tin can contact mics spawn a discussion on the use of tatty old gear for that certain sound. We then marvel at the PPG Wave 2.3 on eBay Australia (or not), then we look at Richie Hawtin's amazingly complex setup for a recent gig in Detroit and how we prefer our own setups to be.
Finally, the Soccer World Cup makes an official entrance in the form of the Vuvuzela and how to filter it.
