Here's the Behringer press release...
BEHRINGER's new VMX Series DJ mixers have built-in USB connectivity, allowing DJ's to place MP3s in their mix or send their original creations directly into their computers. These mixers require no special drivers, and include a software bundle with energyXT 2.5 BEHRINGER Edition music production software.
Each mixer in the VMX Series features state-of-the-art phono preamps, inputs for turntables and CD players, mic inputs and dual BPM (beats per minute) counters. These mixers feature VCA-controlled ULTRAGLIDE faders with up to 500,000 life cycles. The adjustable crossfader curves allow users to adapt the VMX to accommodate any mixing style.
The VMX1000USB, VMX300USB and VMX200USB all feature BEHRINGER's XPQ stereo surround effect, a 3-band kill EQ, Gain control and precision level metering per channel. Additionally, the VMX1000USB has an EQ on/off switch on stereo channels, as well as a subwoofer output. There is also a monitor function with PFL/main balance control & split option and auto-talkover function with separate depth and sensitivity control. The VMX100USB features the most simplified controls, with a 2-band EQ and level meter for MAIN output.
