Spotted over at Sequencer.de and also Matixsynth, Creamware’s Klangbox will take the guts of the ASB series - which are representations of classic synths with dedicated panel controls. Minimax, Pro12 and Prodyssey, and put the sound generating guts into a single 1u rack unit. This will mean that the overall cost will come down but you still get the sound – although the most attractive part of the ASB series for me was the very fact that it does have dedicated front panel controls. Rumour has it that the Klangbox will sell for around 444 euros – which will probably translate to around $499 or so (that’s my guess) There’s nothing about it on CreamWares site just yet, so you’ll have to visit
