If you're into music production, film scoring, or sound design like us, you know the nightmare: finding one specific sound among thousands of WAVs on your drive. That's why we built Wavefinder: a local A.I. model that searches the audio on your computer by how it sounds, not by its filename.

Type a description and Wavefinder finds the closest matches in your library. Something like "slow, heavy footsteps on gravel, like someone pushing rocks" brings up the most similar sounds in about 0.5 seconds.
