SynthFest UK returns to The Octagon in Sheffield for 2026 after a year off in 2025, and tickets for the one-day show are on sale now. The date is Saturday 24 October, running 10:30am to 6:00pm, with exhibitors, seminars and demos filling the day. As usual there will be a hall full of manufacturers and retailers, from the larger names to to smaller makers, educators and organizations linked to the world of synthesis. Its a great day out. You can check out our 2024 video coverage here
Pricing moves in steps as the show gets closer, so it pays to buy early:
Advance Price - £17.99 plus fee.
Walk-Up - £25 on the day.
Concessions - students, registered claimants and senior citizens aged 65 or over pay £9.00 plus fee. Children aged 14 to 18 are £7.00 plus fee, and under 14s get in free.
Every ticket includes free entry to the seminars and demos rather than charging them as extras. The full programme is published on the SynthFest seminars page, and it is worth checking before you plan your day, as the talks and demos run alongside the exhibition floor rather than as a separate ticket stream. The first 200 visitors through the door also collect a free tote bag.
Tickets are handled by See Tickets and Resident Advisor, so you can go through whichever agent you already use. The Octagon is wheelchair friendly and there is a cloakroom on site.
SynthFest is a Sound On Sound event, run in partnership with the Sheffield Sensoria Festival of Music, Film and Digital Media. For anyone weighing up a purchase, it remains one of the few UK shows where you can put hands on the gear and ask the people who designed it.
