Sonuscore has announced two new expansion packs for THE PULSE, its production engine for modern cinematic composers, producers and beatmakers. Synth Wave and Epic Atmospheres join Motion Textures and Dark Machina, bringing the total number of Pulse expansion packs to four.
Tilman Sillescu, Co-Founder, Sonuscore, told us, "The Pulse was built with more power than any single preset collection could show on its own. Synth Wave and Epic Atmospheres open up two directions we hadn't covered yet, and across all four packs composers now have a genuine spread to draw on."
Synth Wave
Synth Wave adds 20 presets built around classic Synth Wave character: pulsing basses, arpeggios, leads and nostalgic chord voicings. A second set of sessions moves into darker, more atmospheric territory, suited to retro-futuristic scoring for film, TV and games rather than straight nostalgia. Each preset combines warm analogue character and vintage imperfections with modern movement and cinematic depth, offering the retro signature.Epic Atmospheres
Epic Atmospheres adds 20 immersive sessions built around warm analogue synthesisers, deep drones, enormous reverbs and evolving harmonic textures, designed for composers scoring dystopian and science fiction material. Each session is built to keep moving under a sustained chord, so texture, modulation, harmony and spatial depth continue to shift rather than settle into a static pad. The pack draws inspiration from the scoring lineage of Vangelis' original Blade Runner and Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch's work on Blade Runner 2049.Pricing and Availability:
