ILIO has introduced Euphoria, a new collection of 137 patches and presets for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 3. They tell us that, created by producer and sound designer Michael (MIDIhead) Babbitt, Euphoria combines familiar dancefloor sounds with fresh electronic textures for house, techno, drum and bass, dance pop, and beyond. Euphoria: Electronic Music Patches for Omnisphere 3
Euphoria is MIDIhead's first patch collection for Omnisphere 3, bringing together punchy basses, supersaws, lo-fi bells, tempo-locked arpeggios and pulsers, gliding leads, pads, and transition effects. Drawing on electronic music from the 1980s through today, the collection gives producers sounds for building rhythmic foundations, writing melodic hooks, and shaping the tension between sections.

That versatility resonates with composer and producer John Hancock, a founding member of Late Night Alumni whose credits include work with Kaskade and Skylar Grey, as well as additional music for Love Hard and Thelma the Unicorn.

"Built for dance music, and great at it, but also a secret weapon for film scoring," says Hancock. "I pulled up Euphoria in the middle of a current project and it immediately found a place.
