LEWITT Releases Wireless Studio Headphones

LEWITT has announced their very first headphones, the LW6 Wireless Studio Headphones. Here's the story in their own words...

The LEWITT LW6 Wireless Studio Headphones are ideal for precision mixing and mastering, as well as monitoring and recording. With LW6, you get wireless audio at ultra-low latency without compression. This finally lets you move around the studio free from the cable without compromises.  
 
From studio microphones to headphones 
 
LEWITT has built a reputation for its innovative studio recording microphones, and you can hear them on Grammy-winning albums, including Bad Bunny's "Album of the Year" 2026 and Sabrina Carpenter's "Best Pop Vocal Album/Best Pop Solo Performance" from 2025. 
 
With LW6, LEWITT is now entering a new category but also aims to establish an entirely new one, namely wireless studio headphones that meet all requirements of experienced studio professionals. 
 
Wireless for studio professionals 
 
LEWITT's LW6 wireless studio headphones provide previously unheard-of freedom for your audio production workflow as it allows you to move around the studio unrestricted to track instruments and vocals without noticeable delay or compromises on audio quality. 
 
Unlike other wireless technologies, LEWITT's RealSound is working in the ultra-wide band range to deliver truly uncompressed audio with ultra-low latency of under 6ms. This guarantees the experience of wired high-end studio headphones, but now, there is no cable tangling around. 
 
Simply connect the included RealSound transmitter to wherever you would connect your wired headphones, like for example the headphone out of your audio interface. Alternatively, you can connect the transmitter via USB-C directly to your computer. And within a 5 m (16ft) range, you get wireless audio transmission without any sort of compression or noticeable delay, finally making wireless part of the professional studio world. 
 
Made for precision mixing, mastering, and monitoring 
 
LEWITT made sure that LW6 provides the reference-grade sound quality you expect from high-end open-back headphones realized in a closed-back design. This ensures an effective two-way sound isolation for recording and monitoring without bleeding into your microphones and of course mixing and listening without disturbing anyone around you.  
 
To ensure you will notice every detail with outstanding resolution when mixing and mastering. 
The transparent and natural sound is optimized for precision mixing and mastering. It is the result of an enhanced measurement procedure using microphones in real ears in addition to the standard measurement rigs. 
 
Sound customization available 
 
LEWITT lets you further customize the sound of LW6 via a fully parametric 5-band EQ. You can create your individual sound profiles either via the available desktop software or mobile app and store them directly on the headphones. Thanks to the built-in DSP, no host device or software needs to be connected or run in the background. 
 
Virtual studio monitors and mixing features 
 
Where you would usually need an extra software plugin, the LW6 lets you natively uplift the stereo realism by activating virtual studio monitors. They simulate perfectly tuned studio monitors in an ideal mixing room which helps you make better mixing decisions and provides a more pleasurable experience for mixing sessions. Perfect for traveling or working late in your apartment.  
 
The LW6 offers advanced monitoring functions to check your mixes like mono, side-stereo, side-mono, or Left-Right swap, and you can define three target volumes. 
 
To protect your hearing from dangerous high-level peaks, you can define a threshold level using the loudness guard. All metering in the software is k-weighted, perfect for broadcast and mastering. Each feature can be assigned to the two hardware custom buttons for quick access, either by single or double press, giving you a total of four individual commands at hand.  
 
Like the sound profiles, these features run directly on the DSP of the LW6 headphones and don't require you to be connected to the available mobile app or desktop software while using it.  
 
Made for highest comfort and long sessions 
 
The LW6 headphones play in the top league in terms of sound quality, but also in terms of wearing comfort. The earcups feature thick and comfortable memory foam for reduced leakage and ideal passive isolation. And together with the adjustable headband, LW6 adapt perfectly to your head shape even when you wear glasses, perfect for long mixing sessions. 
Speaking of long, the LEWITT LW6 has a playback time of up to 21 hours. After 15 minutes of charging, you get an extra 3 hours, so you don't have to interrupt your sessions. 
 
Fits into any audio setup, wireless or wired, analog or digital. 
 
The LW6 can be easily connected anywhere, whether it's professional audio equipment with a headphone output or directly to your laptop via USB-C when working on audio productions on the go. Of course, as with any other professional studio headphones, there is also an analog 3.5 mm connection for using the LW6 with a cable. 
 
Bluetooth for casual listening 
 
You can pair the LW6 headphones via Bluetooth with your phone or computer. Like in the good old days, you can now use the same pair of headphones in the studio and for casual listening on the go, but now you are free from the cable. That helps you to really learn to trust your headphones outside and in the studio.
