Free Akai Sampler & MPC Firmware Mods

The prolific progress of firmware mods, software emulations, and recomps continues - this time on the Akai Sampler and MPC series. This first video shows firmware mods for the Akai MPC2000 Classic and MPC2000XL - offering an extended tune range, program transpose, mute groups, parameter copy, folders, per-track programs and sample regions. This installer is free and available here - the installer patches the original OS file on your computer; nothing is written to the MPC.

The video below show mods for the Akai Series Samplers - S900FX and S950FX are custom operating systems for the Akai S900 and Akai S950 that turn the hardware into signal processors, allowing you to apply 12-bit processing to the audio signal in real-time. Download the upgrades for free here...
