Chop Stop - A Free Browser-Based Sampler

Created by Dan Hillman, Chop Stop is a browser-based sampler designed to feel immediate and hardware-inspired. Dan tells us that users can chop music across MPC-style pads, trigger it from a keyboard or MIDI controller, add drums, record performances, build sequences and arrange complete beats. It also includes crate digging, groove controls, drum effects and a range of custom sampler themes.

The Chop Stop process:
Find: Dig for a source or paste a YouTube link.
Chop: Tap empty pads to capture the moments you want.
Sequence: Turn those chops and drums into a tight loop.
Arrange: Build your loops into a finished song rail.
