SoundHive End Game Enhancer, Clipper and Limiter for $99

US Three-stage mastering plugin      18/07/26

SoundHive has released End Game, a mastering processor that combines an upward enhancer, a clipper, and a limiter into one interface, designed to spread loudness work across three voiced stages rather than pushing a single limiter. It is available now for macOS, Windows, and Linux VST3 at $99. The plugin was designed and coded by SoundHive founder Pete Dowsett, whose background spans Metropolis Studios, Abbey Road Institute, Relab, and Blackstar.

End Game Strip view

  • Three voiced stages: Enhance, Clip, Limit - configured to share loudness duties across the chain.
  • Enhance (upward): three independent voicings - Bloom (broadband, no latency), Detail (true multiband with Focus), Inflate (upward + harmonic waveshaper with Character). Works in Stereo or Mid/Side.
  • Clip: four modes - Hard, Punch, Smooth, Loudness (transient-aware). Drive control (0-24 dB) adds tape-style body without double-clipping. Optional low-frequency protection split keeps bass out of the nonlinear path and recombines in phase.
  • Limit: multi-stage, program-dependent design with slow musical gain plus fast lookahead brickwall. Six styles - Safe, Silk, Transparent, Glue, Punchy, Aggressive - each with distinct timing and release behavior. Oversampling 1x-16x (4x default) and optional true-peak safety. Tuned to keep modern bass-heavy material clean and intact.
  • Metering on one screen: Momentary, Short-term and Integrated LUFS, Loudness Range, Peak-to-Loudness Ratio, and True Peak. ALL view overlays the three stages over a single waveform to show what each is doing.
  • Formats: VST3, AU, AAX for macOS and Windows; Linux VST3 build available. 64-bit host required.
  • License and trial: $99 perpetual license, three machine activations, 7-day fully functional trial (no credit card), 30-day money-back guarantee.

The concept is straightforward: reduce dynamic range in small, controlled steps where each stage is most comfortable, rather than forcing one limiter to do all the work.

End Game provides a single plug-in  with voicings that are tuned to work together, plus full loudness metering in view to hit the right target for the material.

Price: $99. Available now.
