Aluminium Mulatar

If you're a fan of drones (and accompaniments) the latest model of the Mulatar from maker & musician Rubi Mo comes in an Aluminium enclosure, packed with features. It has a series of pickups for the strings, with two volume controls, a single jack output and an internal microphone for the percussion - perfect for use with a loop pedal or looper. It sounds great and looks beautiful!

Customization Options

Top Strings - All Mulatars include 3 to 5 top strings mounted above the instrument. These can be customized with several options:

• Standard single strings
• Double-string configurations 
• Jawari bridges for the characteristic buzzing resonance found in Indian instruments

Front Section - The front of the Mulatar can be configured in many different ways. Available options may include:

• Different numbers of strings
• Full-key harp systems
• Simpler harp layouts
• Slide guitar 
• Fine tuners for greater tuning precision
• Jawari bridge options for additional tonal character

Percussion Elements - The instrument can include a wide variety of percussive elements, such as:

• Tabla and Nal heads
• Other tunable and non-tunable skin heads
• Wooden percussion surfaces

Electronics and Amplification - The Mulatar can be equipped with different pickup and amplification systems. Including:

• One output jack for the entire instrument
