Build Your Own Kick Drums

Dystant Sounds has launched KX1000, which they describe as a browser based Kick Architect paired with a 4,000 file WAV library. They say that it sits somewhere between a sample library, a browser instrument, and a focused production workflow.

A spokesperson told us, "Instead of producers endlessly scrolling through kick folders, KX1000 lets them build kicks from Transient, Body, and Sub layers directly in the browser, then use the sounds in any DAW, sampler, or drum machine."
