At Superbooth 2026, we spoke with David from Non-Linear Labs, who introduced us to the C25, a digital performance synthesizer. As a compact brother to the C15, the C25 retains the impressive Phase 22 modulation engine, housed in a redesigned metal chassis aimed at touring musicians.
The C25 features an upgraded keybed with continuous censoring, allowing detailed key travel measurement for modulation, polyphonic aftertouch, and high-resolution velocities. Enhanced connectivity includes four CV inputs, pedal inputs, MIDI, USB ports, and audio-in capabilities. Its user interface has been enriched with additional controls, touch strips, and a large screen for intuitive navigation and parameter tweaking.
Anticipated updates include a recorder for lossless audio capture and a performance mode for organizing set lists. While still a prototype, the C25 is expected to be more affordable than its predecessor, making it accessible to a wider audience. A release is planned for early 2027, and ongoing developments will be communicated via a forthcoming blog.
