At Superbooth 2026 Mark Faenger a techno artist, gave us insight into an exciting new collaboration with Ohmforce showcasing the innovative Bohm HPN Model. This unique piece of gear stands out for its focus on generative rhythmic capabilities by integrating pitch and velocity, especially emphasizing the often underutilized velocity in Eurorack modules. This expanded functionality allows for the creation of more dynamic and organic sounds by manipulating sequences beyond basic kicks. HPN stands for hypnotic, by the way.

Key features include an enhanced kick drum module accompanied by groove and performer modules. With three active tabs, the HPN Model generates complex rumbling sequences enriched by pitch and velocity variations. Users can manipulate sequence lengths from three to sixteen steps, incorporating polymetric complexities. The model boasts over a thousand semi-random seed patterns, each transforming the sonic texture with internal delay and reverb effects.

Existing Bohm owners can download this update, initially available to registered users and expanding access within a month.
