We had a chat with Dani from Whimsical Raps who gave us a look at the Atrium a five-voice analog polysynth distinguished by its innovative use of gestural control. The Atrium's core concept lies in its intuitive interaction through touch plates and sliders, offering a dynamic approach to synthesis. The sustain slider manipulates the low-pass gates, while the note slider adjusts tonality, with the capability to hold chords and modify note spreads. Each voice houses a primary analog oscillator alongside a secondary oscillator, which can alter waveforms and crossfades. The synth features a triple bandpass filter system for spectral manipulation and an advanced lens sequencer that stores filter positions.
