Superbooth 2026: U-He Civilization update and Melt Filter Module

US New modules and updates from U-He      08/05/26

We spoke to Seb and Urs from U-He about their latest innovations at Superbooth 2026. They introduced Melt highlighting its compact integration in their setup. Melt is characterized by a core temperature parameter that provides unique saturation effects, including asymmetric saturation. It features multiple audio inputs and outputs, frequency and resonance modulation capabilities, including VCAs for enhanced versatility in sound shaping.

Additionally, the Civilization module received a significant firmware update, transforming it with a quad VCO mode that supports classic waveforms and advanced modulation techniques. The module allows for various polyphonic and monophonic configurations, making it apt for complex synthesis applications. While production is nearly complete, the finishing touches await the arrival of knob caps. Expected retail availability was projected within four to six weeks, but specific pricing was yet undecided. The firmware update is currently available for download.
