Superbooth 2026: Make Noise Soundhack Plexiphon

US Complex weaving of sound with multiple feedback paths      08/05/26

We had a chat with Walker from Make Noise who gave us an overview of the SoundHack Plexiphon, presented at Superbooth 2026. As an innovative stereo spatial texturizer module developed in collaboration with Tom Erb, the Plexiphon stands out by weaving sound through multiple feedback paths and delay taps. The core concept revolves around the Plexus control, which adjusts the complexity and number of these paths, varying from a reverb-like effect at lower settings to a multi-tap echo at higher ones.

The module features smooth modulation capabilities for size, timbre parameters like color and diffuse, and stereo operations such as couple and skew. Its versatility suits different musical applications, from adding lush textures to functioning as a standalone voice instrument. The Plexiphon is available for $469 USD and starts shipping in early June. With no specific release details for stereo controls yet, anticipation builds for this innovative module's market entry.
