We spoke to Adam from Boredbrain at Superbooth 2026 about the Xcelon SL Mixer a performance mixer designed specifically for electronic musicians. This portable mixer inherits the design DNA of Xcelon's Eurorack mixer but targets desktop applications with a pro-grade all-analog build. Featuring 8 stereo channels, the mixer accommodates stereo, mono, or dual mono configurations. This flexibility allows you to seamlessly crossfade or share controls between inputs. The XLon SL also prioritizes processing control with adjustable EQ and drive options, VCA-based compression, and a dynamic microphone input.

The mixer is built for flexibility, offering two stereo effects sends with the ability to switch to pre-fader, a master sidechain, and a unique A and B bus system for additional channel routing. A built-in master filter with separate resonance controls enhances usability. The SL Mixer's design ensures manual control, keeping interaction engaging during live performances.
