Superbooth 2026: Binkhorst Creations Bink Keybed

US New high-end keybed with high resolution sensing. It's binky!      08/05/26

At Superbooth 2026 we spoke Stijn and Marcel from Binkhorst Creations  to find out about their Bink keybed. This high-end synth action keyboard sought to eliminate the common plasticky feel in favor of a luxurious touch and precise mechanical action.

What sets the Bink apart is its full distance sensing capability. Each key integrates a sensor providing detailed velocity, pressure, and travel data, with calculations processed up to 10,000 times per second. Furthermore, the keybed offers mechanical adjustability, allowing you to modify the aftertouch and key weight from 40 to 90 grams.

Bink is designed to enhance sensitivity and expression for synthesizer interactions, making it an attractive choice for instrument designers. ISA is prepping for production with an anticipated first run in early autumn. For those interested in integrating this technology, ISA extends an open invitation with low minimum order requirements.
