At Superbooth 2026 Chris Lody introduced us to Sonicware's latest creation: Deconstruct Minimal. This compact Groovebox combines a 10-part drum machine with a single-part analog model bass synth which can load samples into each track along with a dedicated loop track.
The front panel features a keyboard mode that facilitates pitch changes, sample manipulation, and sequence alteration with ease. It offers sampling capabilities with several sample slots and supports WAV format at 48kHz and 16-bit. Additionally, stereo loop tracks enable time-stretching. Connectivity is via USB-C, allowing sample transfers and device backup to be accomplished swiftly. The Deconstruct Minimal also has a bult in speakers and works on batteries meaning you can make your masterpiece up a mountain!
Priced at an introductory $299, it is anticipated for release by mid-June.
