Superbooth 2026: Expert Sleepers NTX8CV And Forever Modules

We spoke with Expert Sleepers at the Superbooth 2026, where they introduced the NTX8CV, a versatile 4HP Eurorack module. Its compact design offers three distinct functionalities: MIDI to CV conversion, audio interface capabilities, and expansion for the Disting NT with up to 64 CV outputs (chaining additional units). NTX8CV combines an 8-output socket layout and USB-C port, enabling connectivity with computers or direct MIDI controller hosting. The device supports polyphonic MPE and includes internal clocks, Euclidean patterns, and random generation. It retails for approximately £179 or $219, expected in stores in eight weeks.

Expert Sleepers also presented the prototype of the Forever module, an audio freeze effect derived from the Temporal Freeze algorithm on the Disting NT. This module captures brief audio moments, offering instant freeze and release functionalities with interactive controls for layering, detune, and fading effects. Although specifics on release are unconfirmed, it may be available by the third quarter of the year. Both modules emphasize Expert Sleepers' commitment to multifunctionality and efficient modular design.
