We visited Angelo and Simon from Enjoy Electronics at Superbooth 2026 and they gave us a look at their new creation Memento which blurs the lines between effect unit and instrument.
Memento is a performance-focused audio processor that combines a texture engine, stereo reverse delay, filtering, and reverb into a single system, supported by two step-based modulation sources for evolving movement over time. Control is centred around a touch surface, which is designed to make parameter changes more immediate and gesture-based rather than menu-driven.
It is intended for use with a wide range of sound sources, including acoustic instruments, synthesizers, and drum machines. The dry signal remains on a separate path until the final stage, where it can be blended and processed, including additional filtering and harmonic shaping. Alongside this is a looping layer that allows audio to be recorded, replaced, and reshaped in real time, with undo and redo available for quick revisions during performance.
The delay section operates in stereo with independently controllable left and right channels, which can run forward or in reverse. Timing can be set manually in milliseconds or synced to tempo divisions, with optional offset between channels for more complex rhythmic patterns. Feedback can be pushed into self-sustaining repeats and shaped with high- and low-pass filters, allowing the delays to range from clean echoes to more degraded, textured results.
Memento will be available soon Price TBC
