Kodamo Mask 1EX MK2 Desktop Bitmask Synth

We looked at the Kodamo Mask 1 synthesizer a couple of years back and were impressed with its sonic capabilities, since then, the Mask EX1 was released in limited edition, giving access to the unique bitmask powered synthesizer in a desktop and more affordable form.

Like the original Mask 1 keyboard, the the EX1 MK2 has two bitmask oscillators with 512 waveforms, twin multi-mode digital filters, four envelopes (loopable) and twin LFOs. Two stereo FX. Bit masking involves slicing waveforms and reordering the slices to create unique and harmonically rich sound sources.

The EX1 MK2 has all this but in a compact (and more affordable) desktop format - priced at around €382 + VAT and Shipping.

You'll have to be quick though, its another limited edition run. Called "Jade Vine Limited Edition" and according to the website is available now. For those of you going to Synthfest France next weekend, you should be able to see it there.
