LSPXPO 2026: JBJ Bandbox Live Stem Mixing and More

US Possibly the smartest of smart speakers      22/03/26

We had a chat with Scott from JBL, who gave us a look at the JBL BandBox.
The Bandbox offers stem separation capabilities, which allows you to isolate vocals, guitars, drums, and other sounds using the JBL 1 app.
Scott demonstrated this feature by splitting tracks from a Spotify playlist.
The device has a lot of potential for buskers, rehearslas, practicing and more,
The larger BandBox Trio offering three inputs: guitar, switchable guitar/mic, and mic/line. Additionally, it includes USB-C connectivity for a two-in, two-out interface, making it versatile for different setups. JBL has also developed their own guitar amp simulations to edit over Bluetooth.
Available in two sizes, the smaller version Bandbox Solo,  loses the screen but retains all features, controllable through Bluetooth and the app.
Its proving to be a very popular product, with a host of features, that work for musicians across all abilities.

Solo is £299 and the Trio is £599
