Arturia Keystep 37 MKII Is Here

Arturia has announced the much awaited update to the  KeyStep 37 the Keystep 37 MK II, adding more control, sequencing and a new OLED screen, improved ergonomics, and generative features.

Visual Feedback: The addition of an OLED screen, which offers clear visibility into sequence data and parameters. This is bolstered by a strip of 39 LEDs positioned directly above the keybed to visualize notes being played

Hardware Updates:  The interface now includes 2 additional buttons and 4 new rotary encoders dedicated to sub-menu navigation, providing better tactile control over the device's deeper functions

Sequencer and Arpeggiator: The mk2 introduces more powerful sequencing capabilities, including pattern chaining and unquantized recording, which allows for capturing performances with natural human feel. The arpeggiator includes a Mutate function and adaptive features that respond to the notes you play, assisting in melody generation.
Musicality: Scale and Chord modes are onboard to ensure that generative experimentation stays harmonically relevant.

Connectivity: USB-C for computer power and data, plus 3.5mm jacks for CV Pitch, Gate, and Mod 1/2. It also features MIDI In/Out, Sync I/O, and a pedal input

 The slim keys feature velocity and aftertouch sensitivity like the original.

For studio musicians and live performers who juggle software and modular gear, this update addresses the main friction point of the original: lack of visibility. The screen and additional knobs mean you can edit sequences and adjust parameters without looking at the computer.
