Uncrush the Bitcrusher

US Undo digital effect using Quantum Gate Distortion      24/02/26

With new generations of sound processing and source separation around the corner, my mind automatically flips to being able to do things like "un-effect" specific audio - and here we have that in action! Alex Alani shows his process for uncrushing a bitcrusher in Logic X using his Quantum gate distortion, or GHZ, by running the inverse of the process into the processed audio. Pretty magic, though before you get too excited, the description puts things in perspective..

NOTE: I can uncrush the bitcrushers I make with the SQGD effects from my research (still novel and cool), but not any classical bitcrusher of any distorted audio in history (would probably make me a millionaire)
