BaF 26: Eternal Research Demon Box

US Turning megnetic fields into sound and control      26/01/26

Alexandra from Eternal Research  showed the innovative Demon Box at the Buchla & Friends event. The Demon Box features 33 inductors arranged in three channels, offering a unique triphonic interaction with sound.

Its unique functionality revolves around sensing magnetic fields and converting them into data for various sonic applications.

The Demon Box explores the spatial and dimensional aspects of sound, generating MIDI data, audio, and control voltage simultaneously. Its design enables minimal movements to orchestrate vast sonic changes, highlighting the concept that small forces can provoke significant effects.

Alexandra explained her approach to integrating aesthetics and functionality, using acid-etched bronze faceplates that enhance both durability and visual appeal.

Estimated shipping early 2026.
Approx price £740
