Visual Browser for Ableton Plugins

With so many similar products and releases around its refreshing to see a totally new idea - Visual Browser 3 is such a thing, offering a... visual... browser.... (good name!) for all of your plugins in Ableton. From the oddly named Elizabeth Homeland comes his first ever application, which is completely standalone. It appears to be particularly useful for those of us who have a myriad of Max4Live devices, or are developing them - to track versions and features. Equally great for those with a tonne of plugins.

Visual Browser is a standalone application for Mac and Windows that integrates with Ableton Live, and it lets you create a picture-based browser/library of your plug-ins, Live devices/instruments, and Max for Live devices.

• It's highly customizable.
• It lets you load devices or plug-ins into multiple selected tracks at once.
• You can assign keyboard or MIDI shortcuts to each device or plug-in to load them that way.
• You can navigate it with a MIDI controller, and you can use it in a minimal overlay mode.

• Automatically scans your Live library (built-in effects, instruments, Max for Live devices, third-party plugins)
• Puts everything into organized categories as cards
• Rearrange anything by dragging and dropping cards and categories (or create new ones, rename them, recolor them)
• Browse presets using Live's tag system
• Load devices or presets into multiple selected tracks at once
• Assign keyboard or MIDI shortcuts to any card -- and use these shortcuts even when the app is minimized
• Navigate/load with MIDI controllers
• Use it in a minimal overlay mode
