Strum Your Software Instruments

US Gulf Coast Synthesis releases Strum Plate - a free strum plugin      06/01/26

Gulf Coast Synthesis has developed Strum Plate, a new plugin that allows users to intuitively strum notes on software instruments. They say that it can turn your mouse or pitch wheel into an Omnichord-like strumming interface.

A spokesperson told us, "Instead of using the typical autochord style of an Omnichord and other products, you can hold a chord on a midi keyboard and intuitively strum across the gold plate or via the pitch wheel."

The company says that it works on all DAWs and operating systems via AAX, AU, VST, and Standalone formats.
