Klevgrand Releases Experimental Effect Plugin

Klevgrand tells us that Parrot is a new product that will take you down a rabbit hole of rhythmic exploration and creative accidents. A spokesperson said, "It's a superior tool for transitions and breaks, rhythmic alterations of beats, stutter-like effects, making pads more detailed and much more. It's a small rhythm-lab in itself really."

Here's more details in the company's own words...

From subtle beat variation or harmonic accents to glitchy mayhem, Parrot adds something very unique and interesting to almost anything. This effect will help ignite your next dance-floor hit or add that extra je ne  sais quoi of flavour to your mix. Whatever you feed the Parrot, it won't let you down!

Eat, sleep, rave, repeat.
Parrot creates rhythmic patterns by sampling small slices of incoming audio, and repeating it in a sequenced loop. With detailed control over the loop length, pitch, dynamics and filtering, the result can easily be turned into the beat and sound you want while still retaining the connection to the original source.

Parrot is designed to be a creative machine for unpredictable grooves, broken loops and irregular textures that you couldn't program by hand, especially when subtle timing shifts or pitch moves push the loop into new territories. It syncs to your DAW or runs freely, encouraging off-grid experiments. Even small changes can create a new pattern, like a kaleidoscope. Let's start experimenting!
