Dangerous Music Debuts Its First Plugin

Developed in partnership with Studio DMI and Acustica Audio, the CONVERT-AD+ Plugin is described as bringing one of Dangerous Music's most iconic analog designs into the digital domain with unprecedented authenticity and expanded creative control. Here's the story in the company's own words...

For decades, Dangerous Music hardware has shaped the sound of modern records with beautiful analog circuits, rich harmonic character, and mastering-grade precision trusted by world-class mixers, producers, and studios. Until now, that sonic DNA has lived almost exclusively in physical hardware. The CONVERT-AD+ Plugin marks an inflection point: a Dangerous flagship has been officially modeled, sanctioned, and released in software form under Dangerous Music Digital.

The plugin was designed with creative input from GRAMMY Award-winning producer and mixer Luca Pretolesi, who has relied on the hardware version of the CONVERT-AD+ for years at Studio DMI.
