Teaching an Octopus to Play Piano
US Tentacle triads from a real-life Octatrack 08/11/25Few videos with a title this ridiculous and promising end up delivering the goods - but my god, this guy actually taught an octopus to jam with him! It's a fantastic story, with a cinematic narrative arc - in which Mattias Krantz first builds up a level of trust with the eight legged friend, before introducing it to a piano, and adapting it for easier tentacle-based triads. There's lots to learn here about design, psychology and perseverance..Incredible stuff!
