Serato Improves Workflow In Pro Tools

Serato has announced AAX (Avid Audio eXtension) Native support for its Sample and Hex FX plugins, completing the set of available formats alongside VST and AU. They say that this highly anticipated update brings both functions into Pro Tools, giving producers the freedom to create and refine tracks without workflow disruptions.

A spokesperson told us, "With AAX compatibility, users can now chop, pitch, stretch, and color their audio directly inside Pro Tools - no more workarounds - unlocking a faster, more seamless creative experience."

Here's more details direct from the company...

Until now, Pro Tools users have had limited options for fast, intuitive sampler that lets them chop, flip, and isolate Stems in seconds. Powered by Serato's renowned Pitch 'n Time algorithm for perfectly synced time-stretching and pitch-shifting, Serato Sample instantly transforms any sound into music. Meanwhile, Hex FX offers 50 versatile effects and 200+ presets to add color, texture, and character to any sound. Together, these essential plugins expand the creative possibilities for Pro Tools users everywhere.

Serato's recent round of innovations has focused on delivering the artist community's top-requested features. Their newest update introduces the integration of Spotify directly into Serato DJ Pro and Lite, allowing DJs to mix tracks from their saved playlists, liked songs, and fresh picks from Spotify's catalog of over 100M tracks. As a continuation of Serato's mission to create an exceptional music creation experience, AAX support for Sample and Hex FX is now available.
