Plugin For Composing Cinematic Phrases

Sampleson has announced the launch of Twinkle, which they describe as an app and VST plugin that lets you craft magical cinematic passages with a single mouse drag. The company says that Twinkle instantly generates expressive musical phrases -- from arpeggios and trills to runs and sparkling bursts of notes -- with one simple gesture.

Twinkle features a gesture-based interface that allows users to compose intricate musical ornaments without needing complex musical knowledge. With 32 modes, paired with the Phrase Type Selector and adjustable Tempo, Twinkle offers virtually endless possibilities for both inspiration and learning. Users can capture their gestures via MIDI Out or seamlessly drag and drop recorded phrases directly into their DAW, allowing for full orchestration with their own instruments -- or they can utilize the included mock instruments to audition ideas instantly.
