The PLATO engine is that like its namesake (or Norman Bates, Walter White, The Incredible Hulk etc) it has at least two sides.  Yes, it can be a fantastic 'normal' Dulcitone or EP, but you can also take those haunting bell like tones on the journey of a lifetime.

PLATO is built around two principles...

1. every note has its own pattern sequencer - you can hold a chord and trigger a different rhythm sequence for each note - great for surprising polyrhythms. Each note can also play a different selection of articulations.

2. a network of subtle to dramatic interactions; sounds, frequencies, transients, levels and effects can all  interact with each other in surprising ways. It is an instrument you try and steer. Fortunately the complex stuff is under the hood,  you use the intuitive GUi to wrangle new ideas and bend new sounds without getting bogged down with details.
