GearFestUK 25: Neve 8816 and 8804 Faders - 16 Ch of Neve Summing

We had a chat with Dale from SX Pro who showed the Neve 8816 Summing Mixer and its optional 8804 fader pack at Gearfest 2025. Both units have been around for a while, but provdie a relatively affordable way to get 16 channels of Neve.

The 8816 is a 16-channel analogue summing mixer that offers versatile monitoring control with dual monitor outputs, talkback, and stereo widening capabilities.

The Neve Mariner transformers, get you that coveted console sound through analogue summing. The unit supports parallel compression inserts as well.

The Neve 8816 is known for its direct outs on every channel and insert points on all channels, offering extensive connectivity and flexibility. With a price tag just over £4,000 when combined with the fader pack, its pretty reasonable for that Neve sound.
