US Affordable feature rich controller shipping in August 16/07/25

Novation have just announced the release of the Launch Control XL, an affordable yet feature packed controller for Ableton Live, which is taking pre-orders now. Priced at a very reasonable £189.99, the unit houses 24 endless encoders, 8 x 60mm faders, 16 assignable buttons, MIDI routing via USB and 5-pin DIN, and the ability to store up to 15 Custom Modes. It seems like a gargantuan step up from the previous version in terms of quality and features. Hats off to Novation!

Here's more details from the video....

Available now, the third generation of Launch Control XL is designed to get you hands on with your entire workflow, whether you're in the box, DAWless, or somewhere in between. Its eight precision faders, 24 endless rotary encoders, and 16 customisable buttons give you tactile control over all major DAWs right out the box, and the new OLED display puts essential information right where you need it.

Thanks to intuitive custom mapping via Novation Components, Launch Control XL is flexible enough to help you take control of a full production session, mixdown, or live performance, or to go deep with a single instrument, plugin, or effect. And with 5-pin MIDI In, Out, and Thru ports, alongside USB-C for power and MIDI, creating powerful hybrid setups is easier than ever.
