New From Pittsburgh - Crow 3 Filter, Double Helix Oscillator

Pittsburgh Modular returns with the Safari Series 9 - a trio of Eurorack modules. With a balance of refined tone, digital grit, and modulation oddities, these modules offer something for those who like their racks a bit wilder. Richard streamed a live presentation last night, where he also showed the new colours for Capt'n Big-O Oscillator (sounds great) and the Mr Phil Ter filter.
 

Crow 3 Filter - Beautiful or Brutal

• The Crow returns in its third iteration, evolving from the aggressive tones of Safari Series #1.

• It merges Pittsburgh's distinct filter character with added smoothness and range.

• Capable of lush sweeps or harsh destruction - it's flexible but still has bite.

Double Helix Wavetable Processor - The Resurrected Prototype

• Originally designed a decade ago as a 9-bit digital oscillator, this lo-fi wavetable beast never saw full production.

• After a SonicState feature caused unexpected demand, it's been revived. (It was Paulee!)

• Expect crunchy, unpredictable textures with a nostalgic digital edge.

Local Florist 2 - Feedback-Fueled Modulation Playground

• A reimagined take on the original with expanded effect options and deeper feedback paths.

• Covers flanging, chorus, reverb, vibrato, and weird spring-like sounds.

• Not quite Karplus-Strong, but still great for plucks and peculiar timbres.
