We've painstakingly modeled every circuit and component of Bob Clearmountain's modded Neve 8068 console, the very board used to mix hits for artists like Kool & the Gang, Sister Sledge, and Chic at The Power Station in New York City. 

The Clearmountain's 8068 plugin features the console's highly musical 3-band EQ, offering more EQ points than the classic 1073 and an inherently wide and musical response perfect for shaping drums, vocals, and strings. A high-Q mode provides additional precision when needed. 

Unlock a spectrum of character with distinct Line and Mic input modes. Line mode offers the console's classic richness and pleasant harmonic coloration. Switch to Mic mode for aggressive saturation and distortion, even at subtle settings. Push it further for grit, snarl, or even unique lofi artifacts at extreme levels.

Automatically keep levels consistent when driving the Mic gain to ensure your ears aren't deceived by changes in volume. This means you can freely explore the full range of saturation and grit offered by the plugin's Mic mode without constantly adjusting the output level, allowing you to focus purely on the tonal character you're creating.
