GForce Software's 1st Original Instrument Is FM- Halogen

We know GForce Software for their highly regarded emulations of classic instruments, Moog, Oberheim, Arp and others. Today they release a new instrument in Halogen - which is aimed at making the sometimes complex FM synthesis more accessible.

Halogen FM won't replace a full-featured DX-style synth, but that's not the goal. It's a focused instrument aimed at making FM approachable and fun, whether you're generating textures, basses or atmospheric pads.

At the centre of Halogen FM is the Halogen Spark Core, a button-press randomiser that generates new sounds instantly. Unlike chaotic patch generators, this one aims to produce musically viable results - you can keep hitting Spark until something grabs you, then fine-tune with macro controls for timbre, envelopes, modulation and FX.
