Free Metering Plug-in

Evergreen Audio has announced the release of Mini Meter, a free, lightweight metering plug-in that they say is designed to give producers, engineers and content creators fast visual feedback of their audio levels DAWs and devices.

Bob Brown, founder of Evergreen Audio, told us, "Mini Meter is about giving everyone a reliable way to monitor their levels, regardless of setup or budget. It's a focused, transparent tool that does one thing well – and it's free because we believe good metering should be a baseline, not a premium."

Here's more details direct from the company...

Designed for clarity and simplicity, Mini Meter offers:

• A clean, resizable interface
• Compatibility with macOS and Windows
• Native Apple Silicon support
• VST3 and AAX plug-in formats
• iPad and tablet integration via Evergreen's networked metering system

Mini Meter is part of Evergreen Audio's broader mission to make high-quality metering accessible and adaptable for modern workflows. Whether used as a standalone reference on a second screen or as part of a larger metering setup, it offers instant visual clarity without cluttering your DAW or requiring additional hardware.

Mini Meter is ideal for:

• Music producers looking to keep an eye on gain structure.
• Content creators and streamers wanting simple level confirmation.
• Engineers needing an additional meter on a second monitor or tablet.
• New users who want to explore Evergreen's metering system before upgrading.
