Internet treasure f4mi has made many superb videos, but none which I've yet managed to shoehorn into the Sonicstate news.... BUT! Today is the day, as she goes wholeheartedly into a world of music making on the Nintendo DS and DSi. Many of us know about the DS-10 game for the DS, which included a fully featured sequencer, song saving and faithful analogue patch bays. But did you know there is also a great Korg M1 game too?!! And you can save tracks...export them to MIDI and .... more !!
Korg M01 has been one of my personal obsessions for a while now, and today we are going to not only talk about it but also... export music from it... and play it on a MIDI boombox?
f4mi takes us on a journey across multiple media - converting her DS-made tracks to Ableton, and eventually attempting to play MIDI files on a dedicated floppy boombox. Keep up with the fast-paced ideas and epic enthusiasm, and you'll love it!
