Superbooth 2025: Jomox - Alphabase MK II + Mod FM D

We had a chat with Jurgen from Jomox, who introduced us to the Alphabase Mark II and the ModFM D. Jurgen revealed that the Alphabase Mark II has been available since October 2024 and continues to feature its distinctive hybrid design. It offers an analog kick drum alongside other percussion sounds generated through a percussion-based synth engine, with analog VCA envelopes and filters augmenting its sample-based channels.

The ModFM D, a desktop version of the Eurorack ModFM, came out in November 2024. It features FM synthesis with CV gate inputs for every voice, broadening your modulation possibilities. Juergen demonstrated the unit's snappy VCA envelopes, the matrix setup with eight voices, and the integrated delay and filtering.
