Superbooth 2025: GForce Software - TVS Pro

At Superbooth 2025, we spoke with Luke from GForce Software who gave us a detailed look at their latest release, the TVS Pro. Collaborating with Tom Oberheim and the Oberheim crew, GeForce has brought the vintage sound of the original Oberheim 2-voice and 2-voice Pro to the digital domain. The plugin features a faithful recreation of the classic SEM front panel, equipped with two oscillators, envelopes, a filter, and modulation options, while modernizing it with features like LFO sync and a new third VCO offering saw, sine, and square waveforms.

Luke discussed the dual sequencer functionality, which includes lanes for gate, velocity, ratchet, and panning per step, along with customizable scales and modes. The plugin also features an expanded effects section, new velocity modulation options, and keyboard presets for different performance configurations. Luke emphasized the importance of maintaining the original's limitations to unlock creative sequencing possibilities, keeping the essence of the classic SEM alive in a modern plugin.
