Superbooth 25: Clank - Uranograph Synth

We spoke to Andrea from Clank, who introduced us to their Uranograph synthesizer at Superbooth 2025. This unique instrument features a pressure-sensitive, microtonal keyboard that supports aftertouch and velocity, allowing you to play with two hands for a more authentic performance experience. The monophonic core includes dynamic articulation controls like glissando and staccato, further enhancing musical expression.

The sound engine is centered around an oscillator that offers sine wave shaping, size alterations, and folding capabilities. It includes a subharmonic generator and a modulation oscillator for a diverse sonic palette. The device also features a low-pass filter with resonance control and assignable LFOs.

Notably, the Uranograph includes a looping section where you can reverse and overdub sounds, complemented by a looper allowing Fripper-tronic style layering and a lush, one-knob reverb. The instrument is in production with shipping expected to start shortly.
